“Residue Wax” or “Foots Oil” is the oil sweated out of slack wax.

Wax sweating was originally used to separate wax fractions with various melting points from the wax obtained from shale oils.

Foots oil is a commodity derived from the production of semi refined paraffin wax, having almost 60% result from 100% of slacks provided by the oil refineries such results are mainly formulated in candle, tire, rubber and shoe soil industries.
